Dr. Blumberg earned his undergraduate and College of Dentistry degree from the University of Florida and is a proud member of the Gator Nation. He went on to complete an Anesthesiology Residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and then attended his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of California Irvine Medical Center and the VA Medical Center in Long Beach, California.
Dr. Blumberg is dually board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He also holds Fellowships with The American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, The American Dental Society of Dental Anesthesiology, and The International Team for Implantology. He is a Diplomate with The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and The National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Florida, Shands Hospital, and holds hospital privileges at Ocala Regional Medical Center and West Marion Community Hospital. He specializes in dental implants, bone and soft tissue grafting, surgical extractions and wisdom teeth. In addition, patients can receive facial rejuvenation treatments like Botox and Juvéderm.
In the Community
Dr. Blumberg participates in a number of charitable surgical missions both inside and outside of the United States. He also provides volunteer services to different community-based and faith-based health services. Dr. Blumberg and his wife Randi have two sons, one of whom is completing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Residency at the University of Florida Shands Hospital. The other plans to begin medical school in the very near future. The family shares a love for English Setters. They currently care for five of them. Three are rescues, and one is a registered service dog who can often be seen bringing joy and comfort to Dr. Blumberg’s patients. In his spare time, Dr. Blumberg enjoys getting on the golf course and taking frequent ski trips with the family.
