For more than 40 years, FDIOS has been providing dental implants, wisdom teeth extractions, and many other oral surgery procedures in Tampa Bay and Lakeland.
Throughout my years of experience, I’ve come to view each person I’ve treated along the way as a whole story, not just from a dental and medical perspective, but about each person’s lives and how I could impact them in a positive way. I highly value listening to and communicating with patients, I feel that is the key in how we can progress towards a positive outcome and experience. Education
Dr. Eugenio began her dental career early on by first receiving a bachelor’s degree in science and dental hygiene. She earned her doctorate in dental surgery at the University of Detroit Mercy. Her interest in specializing led her to continue her training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Ascension St. John Hospital in the Detroit area. During her residency, she received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine.
Expertise
During her residency, Dr. Eugenio trained at multiple Level 1 and Level 2 trauma centers in the Metro Detroit area. Her training afforded her a wealth of experience in all aspects of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with specific interests in dentoalveolar surgery, maxillofacial trauma, and orthognathics. Additionally, she completed a one-year general surgery internship at Ascension St. John Hospital. Dr. Eugenio is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and will hold privileges at Tampa’s BayCare St. Joseph’s Hospital.
In the Community
Dr. Eugenio has contributed her time and talents to non-profits such as the St. Vincent de Paul Dental Clinic, ADA Give Kids a Smile, and the Detroit Men’s Health Oral Cancer Screening. She and her husband, a bariatric surgeon, are excited to start their family in the Tampa area and make a positive impact for the patients that they serve.
Personal Info
After moving to Tampa, Dr. Eugenio and her husband welcomed their first child to the world in the fall of 2022. Besides traveling, they enjoy fishing together which is why they are excited to make Tampa their new home.
