“Oral surgery has a significant level of impact on a patient’s life. It’s great to see their transformation, especially if they’ve lived with chronic pain, or a condition that is detrimental to their confidence or happiness. It’s very satisfying once you’re able to fix that for a patient.” -Dr. Daya
Dr. Daya began dental school at Universidad Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho (UGMA) in his home country of Venezuela and earned his DMD at Nova Southeastern University in 2014.
After his dental education, he completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Nova Southeastern/Broward Health Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale. Upon the completion of this residency, he moved to St. Louis, where he completed his fellowship in TMJ and Orthognathic Surgery at Movahed OMS and Mercy Hospital.
Dr. Daya routinely performs dental implant procedures, wisdom teeth removal, and tooth extractions. He also specializes in bone grafting, TMJ & orthognathic surgery, facial/oral trauma, and oral pathology.
He currently serves as a Board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Tampa General and St. Joseph’s Hospital.
